Tanis, the " Roving Chef"
Tanis is a charming, pleasant person who settles right into your party with great ease. She helps
you choose the appropriate menu when you are not certain what you should serve.
She is an excellent cook, with everything homemade from her kitchen. She estimates quantities well.
Food is served on appropriate platters. You can sit back and relax with your guests while she keeps
the food coming at an appropriate pace. We have used the " Roving Chef" on two occasions
with great success and plan on using her again. She takes the worry out of entertaining

Sorry, I seemed a little distracted when you arrived. My husband and toddler were upstairs sleeping,
and I was worried the dogs were going to wake up the little guy.
Anyway, the food was absolutely the best. The guests all loved it, and many went back f
or 3rds! The Mother-in-Law was impressed, so you know it was good (ha, ha).
I definitely will be using your services for any dinner parties we have, and also next year for the holidays.

The mac and cheese, and the apple pie, were very tasty and comforting. And
the meatballs and noodles were delicious -- a definite favourite!

Just wanted to congratulate you on the excellent food provided for Helen Hudson's party on Saturday. Everything was absolutely delicious. I hope you have had a chance to rest up today after your very busy weekend.
Jeez, I guess I never get to see you anymore. Wanted to tell you that last week went great ... food wise, I mean. I noticed driving home, I felt very relaxed. No stress. When normally I would have been fretting about what to make. THANK YOU!
All we had to eat yesterday was a couple of star cookies -- tasty, but not
very substantial. By the time we got home at midnight, we were starving but
the exhaustion won out. So, needless to say, we were looking forward to your
meal today!
It was absolutely delicious! The meatloaf was fantastic, the mashed potatoes
and beets were great, and the apple pie was a lovely finish. The best part?
We can now look forward to leftovers!!

First of all, the luncheon was absolutely fabulous, even though I didn't get to sample your
Mixed Green Salad! My fault, I came late, and people had gone up for seconds!
Thanks again Tanis. By the way everyone had a blast and really gave you a lot of credit to
get us through. We all want to do it again. The fact that you had the patience that you had
to "try" and keep us focused is remarkable. Hats off to you - great job!!!!!! Oh yes the food
was also fabulous!! (In reference to The Murder Mystery Evening)
We had a party for about 25 people in Jan and it was the most wonderful way to have a party.
All the food, serving platters and utensils were supplied by Tanis and all we had to do was enjoy
our guests. Tanis stayed the entire time keeping the food hot and replenished. Every guest commented on
the wonderful taste and variety of the food.
We would not hesitate to use the roving chef's services for any future functions or parties.
