Port, Beef, and Lamb
Boeuf a la Bourguignon A classic French stew of hand-trimmed beef marinated in burgundy wine, garnished with pearl onions and browned mushrooms. Orange Beef Lean beef marinated in fresh ginger, garlic, orange zest, and soya sauce, splashed with Grand Marnier. Stir-fried with red peppers and onions - delicious! Asian Meatballs with Noodles These are a wonderful change from traditional meatballs and make a great first course. (RR) Old Fashioned Home Style Meatloaf Lean ground sirloin at it’s finest, extra delicious when combined with fluffy mashed potatoes. Chili con Carne Ground beef, tomatoes, onions, garlic, kidney beans and peppers, seasoned with Mexican spices and slow-simmered. Serve with rice. Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Tender green cabbage leaves filled with ground beef and rice, baked in a rich tomato sauce. Spaghetti & Meatballs Robust spaghetti sauce served with homemade meatballs made with fresh ground beef and pork, flavoured with garlic and Italian spices. Some like it spicy, some like it mild, either way it’s a perfect meal anytime of year. Aunt Jemima’s Maple Pork Chops Delicious chops drizzled with zesty maple and orange sauce. (CP) Mustard-Glazed Butterfly Pork Chops Dijon, honey and cumin make a delicious glaze for these barbecued chops. A Wok in the Park Stir-fried pork, vegetables and pineapple chunks in a sweet-and-sour sauce. Stir Crazy Orange-ginger pork stir-fry with broccoli and peppers. An irresistible flavour that’s sure to cause a stir. (CP) Lambssaka Stir-fried zucchini slices layered with ground lamb in a creamy mushroom sauce. Moroccan Stew with Pearl Onions and Baby Carrots A very interesting combination of lamb, vegetables and spices. Served over rice, makes a wonderfully satisfying meal. (RR) Shish kebabs Choose between Steak, Pork or Chicken. Tender strips of meat, marinated in a secret blend of oils, spices and herbs. Barbecued to perfection.
